I was waitlisted in round 2, like 3 weeks before round 2 decision day.

Congratulations PTMBAco2017 and Conektid! After reading this board for the last few weeks (or has it been months), I recognize both of your names. I'm happy to hear that your time on the wait-list is over and that you're finally in. I can only imagine that you've spent the afternoon telling everyone you know! You'll be going to bed tonight with HUGE smiles on your faces. Congrats!!!!

I was expecting them to take longer than this for round three applicants, so I wouldn't be surprised if our decisions are still a couple of weeks out. I'm wondering if they call people on the wait-list first? That would be pretty nice (read: merciful) of them since I've only been waiting two weeks and the suspense is driving me crazy! I can only imagine what it's been like for you two.

Anyway, I'm crossing my fingers and holding my breath... Dylan have mercy!

Anyone else get a call today?

Round 2 wait lister and I just got the call today letting me know I was accepted! I would encourage everyone to take advantage of the consultation they offer. They'll talk you through your app and identify any weak spots. In my case the pre-MBA math class through UCLA extension and a promotion at work were enough to get me over the hump.

Best of luck to those still waiting. See you all in the fall.

Yup, it was an ugly 700 though. Verbal 98%, Quant 54%. That's not exactly what most schools want to see.

Woohoo, also got the admit off the waitlist last friday.

GMAT 650, GPA 2.9

Got a new job with a 15% pay increase and signed up for a mba prep math course through UCLA extension after the initial decision and reported that to the school. I will be a deans list exception and will take a few extra weeks for everything to process through because of it but hey, whatever works right?

I was not expecting the call nor decision along with the rest of the round 3 admits and am pretty happy about it.

Cheers,
-Phil

Me too. I'm considering submitting an app for FEMBA round 4, but only if I don't get a good adcom response from the other school I applied too.

I went to FEMBA Super Saturday last month and I seriosuly dont think it was value-added for my application. It wasn't serious at all. It seemed like I was having small talk with a friend. The interview seemed like a check the box wash imo. Anyone had similar experiences?

Has anyone here been to the mandatory career management workshop? I'm thinking about signing up for the July one and just wanted to know what to expect.

Congratulations! Before getting a call, is the application status changed from "Your FEMBA application is complete and is being reviewed by our admissions committee" to other one?
