Interesting thoughts bb, thanks for the input. One thing that I'm really not sure, is the prestige/brand of these schools. Is Anderson rated better than other two? Could you shed some some light on this aspect?

They are all regional schools with regional influence. SoCal, Texas, and I guess Pittsburgh. You would have a slightly better name recognition with Tepper probably being slightly stronger name overall and a greater alum network since few stay in Pittsburgh. (But we are splitting hairs here). The greatest Numbers are in the Wester part of the US which is more likely tech jobs than anything else....

I would not hesitate to attend Tepper and I don’t feel you will lose anything to skip out Anderson except perhaps nicer winters ;-) but that should not be valued at $60k.

The Best part is that looks like all three programs are stem designated in certain concentrations

Awesome, thanks so much for your inputs bb. I'm sort of inclining towards to Tepper. Will post my final decision.
Thanks again!

CMU has an excellent reputation among big tech companies and lots of consulting recruiting as well. The scholarships only sweeten the deal! They are truly peer schools.

While we are at it, McCombs is an excellent program as well. Met a bunch of people recruiting for tech and most of them ended up with great offers. Austin being a BIG tech hub helps too of course.

I did not make the decision easy for you, did I?

Does the STEM certificate matter for you? Tepper is the only MBA that is stem of those 3.

Not sure about STEM, but I would go with UCLA - great city, great networking opportunities with a large number of tech firms on silicon beach, and most large Silicon Valley companies having presence in LA. Additional opportunities coming from the entertainment/media industry - It’ll be a great city to network.
Pittsburgh has its share of google and IBM and a few others, but LA will give better opportunities

LA has great food everywhere - my favorite city in all of North America for good food (says they guy in New York), while Pittsburgh has a few options in squirrel hill/shady side/etc. I have spent substantial time in Pittsburgh and in LA.

Ask me for my favorite restaurant in both these cities.

But giving it another thought, Texas with all the tech companies moving there and with $50k sounds like a great option. Good food there too.

I would recommend McCombs
