Hi Guys! I am new to this forum.

Applied to Texas on Nov 1st, interviewed on Jan 19th and finally accepted on Feb 19th.

It was quite a tortuous wait of 15 weeks but i am glad it had a sweet end. I am over the moon!

I was at the info session too! The student lunch was at 11:30 with the info session at 1pm and a tour at 2pm. Absolutely perfect weather today. My interview is on Monday, so going to get some live music in over the weekend.

So you applied for R1, and just got accepted today? Does anyone know if they have already started the r2 admits?

Luck for ur interview ! I have lived up North, and I hated the winters there. On a nice December evening you can go play tennis (outdoors) or go for a long run--dream about doing that in Penn, Chicago or NY. I have been living in TX since 2007 and I love it here !!!!!

Hey..a question for people who had applied for TOEFL waiver..
After receiving a TOEFL waiver, does your GIAC status for TOEFL change or it still shows TOEFL score missing?
Also, does the application status change after receiving the TOEFL waiver? Mine still shows submitted and am yet to hear from them.

After your TOEFL waiver is approved the GIAC status should change in a day or two.

Has any international candidate received an invite yet?

I applied on the 1/14 and didnt get the link to pay for the app fee till the 3rd of Feb. So worried whether they have bumped me to R3. Emailed them asking when the decision to I/V will be out, but got no reply.
