Any overview of OG questions by topic? [#permalink]

Hi,
I just started preparing for the GMAT and my resources are the MGMAT set, OG 2015 and Quant/verbal review 2017. My plan is to get through all the MGMAT guides in 8 weeks and do alternating days between quant and verbal. I would like to do OG questions each time I am done with a certain chapter in the MGMAT. Is there any place where I can sort questions with regards to topic? After for example doing the chapter about ratios in the PFD book, I would like to do all OG questions that deals with this topic. I´m hoping to get through all guides in 8 weeks and then use 4 weeks just for CATs, doing problems and reviewing.

Thanks!

I think this will help.
I couldn't find it for Verbal though.

Hi TheNarsisisst,

This master directory has links to all the OGs & Review guides. It covers both Quant and Verbal. I am sure this should become your bookmark :)

Hi TheNarsisisst,

About 3 months ago, you posted that you had just started your studies. Did you end up doing any studying during this time or did you change your plans?

Since it sounds like you're just (re)beginning your studies, then it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can download 2 for free from www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). If you want to do a little studying first, so that you can familiarize yourself with the basic content and question types, then that's okay - but you shouldn't wait too long to take that initial CAT. That score will give us a good sense of your natural strengths and weaknesses and will help provide a basis for comparison as you continue to study. A FULL CAT takes about 4 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have those scores, you should report back here and we can come up with a study plan.

I'd like to know a bit more about your timeline and goals:
1) What is your goal score?
2) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School?

As an aside, you should NOT wait to take CATs until the final 4 weeks of your studies. Taking FULL-LENGHT CATs (under realistic conditions) is an essential part of properly training to face the GMAT; you need to take those CATs at regular intervals throughout your studies, so that we can get a sense of any areas that might require some extra work.
