My name is Obinna and i am from Nigeria..I started preparing two months ago for the GMAT with the aim of taking the exam at some point next year..I am using the
Manhattan GMAT Strategy guides( all of them)...I have finished the Critical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension guides (both were finished in under a week) and i clearly understood them..Will say i am good with it but becoming an expert @ them wouldn't hurt..I do practice with the question bank on here and can see that i do well on the 600 - 700 level questions..I am targeting a 700 score if it is possible but at least a 680 on my first attempt..The schools am planning to apply have their average GMAT score in the 680 - 700 range..But what i wanted to ask is this..Some GMAT questions makes me think that i am really dumb..I will attempt a question thinking that i know it only to actually see that i failed it..What annoys me is that whenever i go to check how the question was solved,THE SOLUTIONS ARE PRETTY DAMN SIMPLE (I just need some reasoning)..I do think that there is a level of reasoning that someone needs to attain before he can take the GMAT and score well on it..I also feel like there is a level of reading/practicing that you need to attain before you can start acing problems..I know i will get better with time (more reading and practicing) but i want to ask you guys how many months it took you guys to reach that level where you can confidently attempt a question and ace it(even the 700 level questions)..How much time did it take you guys???Any tips to improve will surely be appreciated..
