The original thread is locked but I guess IтАЩm entitled to a reply.
I am sorry if my previous post hurt Stolyar or anyone frequenting the forum. If you find it smartass or otherwise offensive, I never intended it that way. I do most of the posting from work and I have to think on my feet. In any case, I apologize.
I find StolyarтАЩs attempts laudatory and I do respect him as much as I do any other person visiting this message board. I salute the people who came up with idea for it, who run it, and who use it.
I, however, strongly believe that a person assumes certain responsibility once they post a question which others will draw on while taking the actual test. The accuracy of oneтАЩs own questions becomes of paramount importance; just look at how people react when the answer to which they hold fast turns out to be incorrect. To claim things that have not been double-checked is, therefore, to display incompetence and to be irresponsible.
Please refer to PaulтАЩs comment regarding the meaning and usage of тАЬwhereтАЭ to see why A is correct.
Once again, sincere apologies to anyone whom I might have hurt.

I just want to interpose myself here. I actually sent a PM to Stolyar defending ob's intents and strongly believing that he did not mean such "abrasiveness". I proved to be right with this post from ob. I respect both of you and there is nothing I would hate more than having 2 most valuable members in discord.
I for my part agree with Praet and although there may on occasion be some errors in Stolyar's posts, I tip my hat to his hard work for I myself, and many of us here, would not even be able to devise any SC questions. If there is anything wrong with a given question, I try to explain and justify my choices for the benefit of the collectivity. I do not believe that Stolyar "claims" his answers to be absolute right but he, in his own right, tries to justify his choices, just as we do, and is also learning in the discussion process.
I just want this forum to be a place which fosters a sense of mutual aid and understanding. This said, I will now go about my own business

However, my passion for English is so strong that I will continue further inventing new SC. To avoid any inconvenience, I will mark them as mine.
