Our pleasure to help.
Q: Please suggest me wether I should apply to these colleges or not because of my low grad score.
A: Some of these programs feel like a bit of a stretch such as INSEAD, Duke Fuqua and HEC. The others are more attainable but will still be tough with your current GMAT score. See below for the ideal score.
Q: Also how much should I score in GMAT for these colleges.
I started my prep last week and last sunday gave gmac mock 1
Qa-49, va-26, ir-6, 620
A: For some of these programs you really need to get much closer to a 700 if not slightly above. After you have taken the exam (and maybe consider taking it twice), reach back out to us so we can better evaluate your chances.
Q: Also, suggest me how to improve my profile and gmat score if possible.
A: Depending on your budget, take a GMAT class and/or hire a tutor. Build a methodical preparation plan. Lastly, practice, practice, practice. You have ton of room to gain on the Verbal side, so if you can focus mostly on that component, your overall score will go up.
Q: I want to apply to the colleges in R1 so I am planning to give gmat in mid/end august 23.
A: That's fine, but don't rush your application. The GMAT score is important so prioritize that first. You might need to apply in R2 to spend more time on the GMAT.
