Hi cara0910 - Did you end up trying Applicant Lab ? If yes, can you kindly share your experience. I am planning to apply to Kellogg PT soon and liked the concept of Applicant Lab. Wanted some reviews before I try it out.

I personally did not find Applicantlab all that helpful. But I've found that I do best interacting with a person to generate new ideas. For me it was too one-dimensional, and I decided to rather pay a consultant who would talk me through things. My few emails to Maria went unanswered, and I eventually got the sense that she does not have the bandwidth to offer customized advice. What people get out of this service I think depends on what you bring in. If you have a lot of business experience, know friends and coworkers who have gotten MBAs from good schools, and really don't want to spend more than $300 on advice, then you'd do well with Applicant Lab. If you're non-traditional, have unanswered questions about the process, and don't have a network to tap into, I'm not sure I'd recommend Applicant Lab except if you are applying for less competitive programs (i.e. non- top 10-15).

I used ApplicantLab successfully this for this application cycle to get into CBS ED and received a full-tuition fellowship for two years. I found the platform to be especially helpful in organizing my thoughts and providing guidance on the essay. Also, the resume help that is provided is really awesome - it helped me revamp my entire resume into something concise and crisp. This is definitely for someone who has a good understanding of themselves and a self-starter! You can also work on unlimited number of school within the platform so if you are applying to several schools (or more) it's all the same price which is great!
