Scazzu16 - your strong GMAT quant score and GPA help, but the potentially weak(er) verbal and DI scores could be a concern for top schools such as LSE and HEC. Any scope to improve the score if you were to retake e.g. did you score higher in mocks?

Most Msc/ Masters programs prefer candidates with some work-experience, whether it's through internships or full-time roles. Have you pursued any internships? If not, it'd be prudent to gain some experience so your profile can stand out.

It's also crucial to have a strong narrative covering your experiences (personal/ professional), career goals, and how your target programs would help you bridge gaps.

Hope this helps. Feel free to reach out through the links below for a more detailed discussion.

Regards,
Arvind

Hi,
i got 615 in gmat focus with very strong quant (94th percentile). My current gpa is 3.825.
I don’t have any related work experience as soon as i’m still doing my bachelor degree (i’m at the begin of my last year).
What are my chances to get in like essec, bocconi, hec, lse ecc... msc in finance. I know my gmat focus is not very high but i believe high quant could help me.

Contrary to MBA programs, MiF degrees do not require students to have any work experience and are therefore open to applicants who come straight from completing an undergraduate degree as well. For most applicants the choice between a Masters in Finance vs MBA is therefore rather easy to make: if you have at least 2 years of working experience, an MBA is the obvious choice and if you don’t, you do not meet the requirements for an MBA program and should consider a Masters in Finance instead.
