One difficult aspect about the MBA admissions process is that you have to throw your whole self into researching the school, talk to alumni, wrap your goals around their program offerings and culture. And then you have to dispassionately put it behind you and apply to other schools to create more options for yourself.
I would recommend that people apply broadly especially now. It's often been the case where clients will get nothing from top 15 or 20 and but get offers from top 10 and M7. If they hadn't applied to some of those more aspirational schools, they would have gotten nothing. If you have a low test score and especially if you have a sub 3.0 GPA this is especially important - because there's an element of unpredictability.
Rather than thinking about applying to schools XYZ sometimes it's helpful to think about the writing opportunities for different schools. How you can repurpose existing content *with some slight changes* to make it true and a direct answer to the prompts? What content blocks can you move around?
I really think about this as more of a campaign where you want to get the most exposure possible, but of course with regards to schools that interest you. How can you repurpose your content to get the most exposure?
