I don't have a list of schools, but I do have some advice...

I would look at some of the business school rankings and compare the average gpa/gmat/work experience listed for those schools.

That will give you a starting point to see where you might be competitive. Then start browsing through those schools more in depth to figure out the types of entrepreneurship programs they offer and how strong each of those programs are.

Hi everyone, please let me know what my chances are of getting into a Top 35 B-School. I'll keep it brief and fill in details as needed.

-25 years old, white, male, from United States
-Attended top 25 university in undergrad, majored in Film, with two Business minors
-Graduated in '09 with a 3.1 GPA
-Started an innovative firm right out of college with international clientele, received national press in NPR, LA Times, Fast Company, and other publications, prefer to keep revenues private
-Yet to take GMAT, scored 700 on practice
-Strong essay writing and interviewing skills
-Interested in getting MBA to expand current business and build new one doing social good

Thank you all very much!

I would recommend targeting schools in the top 10 (assuming you score ~700 on the GMAT). Can you give us anymore details on your start-up? Sounds like you got some great press. How did things turn out?

Interesting story. I think you can make it into top 10. What sort of firm did you starT?

I think you have a strong shot. I would recommend starting to think of how you'll tell your story in your essays.

Thank you all for your feedback and encouragement.

After many months of studying and three test attempts I scored a 660 on the GMAT (V42, Q39) with a 6 in Writing.

Please let me know what you think my chances of getting into a top 25 school given my GMAT score of 660.

Thank you!

How will getting an MBA expand your current business? Not trying to be flippant- just trying to understand the value prop of an MBA for an entrepreneur (i.e. instead of using that time & money to directly grow business).

I think you have a very interesting profile. Assuming you can actually score 700, I would say the top twenty schools are definitely in your profile range. I think you big weaknesses will be a gpa on the lower side combined with a less difficult major. You are also obviously not coming from an underrepresented demographic in business school.
