I hold a BA in computer science and an MBA from the London Business School

Let me get this chat going and ask a question (and answer it )

The question is, should I rush and apply in R1 or wait and apply in R2?

In theory, R1 is always better. The chances might be slightly higher for both acceptance and scholarships, and even if they were the same, you want to know the answers by November, in case you need to apply to some backup options as well.

BUT R2 with a better application (CV, essays, recommendation etc.) or 20+ points in the GMAT ALWAYS beats R1
So only apply when you are ready!

Which MBA programs should be applied if an applicant age is 35 and have 11 years of Retail banking experience

SURE, first of all, it is a real bummer to be a reapplicant, but I help about 5-7 reapps every year, and it is possible! THIS YEAR we had reapps that got into Havard, London Business School, Kellogg, Yale (last Friday!) and more... so it is possible!!!

When reapplying, remember the schools WILL look at last year’s application, so you must try to show improvements. 
How can you "improve"
1. Higher GMAT score
2. Work updates
3. a better story (let’s say career goals) while reflecting on last year’s story (The more I learn about Consulting, the more I understand that this is the way forward before I become an entrepreneur" for example)

Hello, I’m interested in applying for Mba admissions in the fall. I’m in my final semester of bba with business analytics as my major and an ipba iim pg certificate course that will be completed by December. In the meantime, I’ve worked as an R&D assistant engineer for my father’s company. I’ve conducted market research and believe that we should expand our firm to include product manufacturing in India. Can I get into top b schools if I have a strong gmat score?

- Smart & Dependable
- Academic or Professional Excellency
- Vision (career goals, why MBA)
- School Interest & Motivation
- Leadership / Entrepreneurship experience 
- International exposure
- Broad horizons

. I don’t know anything about you and your profile (gender, origin, hobbies, promotions, international exposure... ) but, if all these are "high" then your chances are quite high to these programs. Again, once you have a GMAT score, feel free to send me your CV and GMAT to shimriw@ARINGO.com and I will try to assist further with the profile evaluation and school selection exactly the things I stated in the above answer... Hi, if you don’t have any full-time work experience and have only been working during your degree, then, you probably need to wait 2+ years before applying to top MBA programs, or you could apply to other MAster programs which don’t require a lot of experience, like Master in Management for example Hi, I am not sure about the mistakes... but maybe to apply when you are not ready (CV, essays, LORs, GMAT score are not optimized)

What is the best european mba to work in the usa?

it is hard to say "what is better" but generally speaking ANY US school (eve not top 10) is better (= higher chances) for working in the US than ANY non-US school (again, this is on average)

Today, my salary is around 100.000 per year which is pretty good for the country Im working (Chile). What are the chances to improve my salary after an mba? Another question..is it possible to find senior positions jobs (leading sales teams for example) after doing an mba? I’m currently a head of sales, and i don’t want to loose my seniority
