I am having the worst experience with Kaplan's test,
My 3 test with Kaplan
1. 670 (Q50V27)
2. 720 (Q51V28)
3. 740 (Q51V33)
Prob1- These individual scores of quant and verbal cant give 670,720,740 by any algo
Prob2- I got 16 incorrect in verbal in 2nd test and 22 in 3rd test, however my scores shows other way round. i understand this is CAT, so little bit of deviation is permissible but 6 more wrong questions and 5 more marks can not occur together.
Prob3- According to GMAT Club score calculator tool i should predict a 30-40 points more in actual GMAT over Kaplan's score, however i know right now my performance is not a 770 performance for sure.
prob4- Quant section is good, but in verbal section i feel questions are less like actual GMAT as we see in GMAT prep or MGMAT(although this is my feeling, i may be wrong.).
I would like to suggest all new members(who are yet to take practice test) to save your MGMAT & GMAT prep tests for last month (atleast 3 MGMAT & 1 GMAT prep).Because all other test can give you practice but when it comes to estimate your score GMAT prep & MGMAT are the best.

Absolutely agree with you, Kaplan tests are quite bad. I once got a 50 in Quant with 13 questions incorrect, which I don't think is even remotely possible on the real thing. I'm not even sure if the test is adaptive because sometimes the questions actually get more difficult as you get more of them wrong, specially RC ones. MGMAT and GMATPrep are the two tests everyone should stick to, especially now that there are two more official tests available.
