Its a daunting task for International students, and I'm sure AdComs understand this. Besides, its not necessary,no compulsion.

even a school like Berkeley who loves visits (even have 2 essays that talk about it), internationals do not need to visit. Most of my international classmates never stepped foot in the US until Orientation Week.

If you're in the US, and near the West Coast however, definitely visit Berkeley and UCLA.

Stanford doesn't care. They don't even keep track I think.
