Maybe someone who has taken a test receontly can answer this question for me. I see that the collective list of GMATPREP SC questions that were put together by Sodenso, of GMAT Club seem as hard to me. I mean when you compare it to Official Guide they are harder. Also when you see the questions there is no 2/3 split perse to them.
Has anyone else felt this? That the questions are harder? Also another thing that I have observed when I took the GMATPREP test is my total score was a 650. (Q49 and V29) but i got very hard verbal qquestions (or so I feel) even the CR i got bold face, which people say you get only if you are doing well. SC i completely screwed up. I mean there were very few questions (1 or 2) that have the 2/3 split to them most others had the whole sentence underlined or has no symmetry to the answer choices.
Is this how the SC has become now?? Any insight would be very helpful. Thanks.

Yes GMAT prep is relatively more difficult than OG and actual test is yet more difficult than GMATPrep. OG only represents the various types of questions asked in GMAT and is not even close to actual GMAT.

Yes, the test is Really HARD. All the paper tests I've taken, practice tests are not that difficult. Every practice test I've attempted I scored a range of 30-36 but in the real test I got just 26. I'm shocked . Well, I'm going to attempt again prepared well better than previous time. I'm keeping fingers crossed. It just happened to me in Verbal only. For me Quant didn't surprise much. Only two questions puzzled me. But I got 48 in Q.
Yes, I've read experience of few others as well,In SC no easy split questions to spot, and in CR it was very tiresome because of long questions and answer choices. I agree that our experience in and out of tests is really worlds apart.
