B. Neon atoms never form stable molecules, as other inert gases, by chemically bonding with other atoms.
C. Neon atoms, same as other inert gases, never form stable molecules by chemically bonding with other atoms.
D. Neon atoms never form stable molecules by chemically bonding with other atoms, as other inert gases.
E. Neon atoms, like other inert gases, never form stable molecules by chemically bonding with other atoms.

A. As other inert gases, Neon atoms never form stable molecules by chemically bonding with other atoms.
B. Neon atoms never form stable molecules, as other inert gases, by chemically bonding with other atoms.
C. Neon atoms, same as other inert gases, never form stable molecules by chemically bonding with other atoms.
D. Neon atoms never form stable molecules by chemically bonding with other atoms, as other inert gases.
E. Neon atoms, like other inert gases, never form stable molecules by chemically bonding with other atoms

"As" is used to modify clause only, therefore A, B, C, D are out. "Like" is used to modify nouns.

(E) is the only valid choice.
