The minimum amount will be $0.65*12 = $7.80 which is option B. There is no need to purchase 13 bagels. To get 13 bagels, purchase of 12 bagels is good enough. Give me +1 Kudos if you like the explanation. Thanks.

The minimum amount paid for 12 bagels is 0.65 x 12 = $7.80 and the customer will then get the 13th free.

Answer: B
