You have a good question about using dry erase board at home versus test center. I hope you don’t run into online challenges again. That is really annoying… keep in mind that taking the test at home you also have the potential administrative review which delays score reporting so if you do take it online, remember your score so you can enter it into the application. We’ve had number of people who walked away and then did not remember their score and administrative review will remove all of your scores temporarily.

Over to your question,
One option is to have a bigger board or to write more neatly so you don’t use the whole board for one question. People split the board into four some split it into six or eight depending on the configuration.

Most of the time you don’t end up using the board on every question but still that means you have at least 15 questions if you use it on every other question.

I think you will have to practice a bit to erase it more efficiently. I would say there is a hidden benefit in doing the racing work. I noticed that when I was moving from question to question very quickly I would unintentionally carry over some information from the previous question. This happened in both math and in verbal. Sometimes I would eliminate option and moving onto the next question I still think I eliminated question option a. Then I doubt myself and have to go back to A. to see if I limited in the last question or in this one. Taking a break even a few seconds between questions helped me to avoid this behavior and I actually forced myself to take many breaks between questions on quant…

Thank you very much for all your replies!
This attempt I decided to register for a center, because the risk online is too high, I did it twice and there was always something going on, plus by reading threads I see it is not uncommon. Main problem now is to keep the verbal section score stabilized.
I use to score over 40 consistently, but my last 4 simulations (official ones), has been fluctuating, being 46 the highest and 34 the lowest (which was today).
