At least 100 students at a certain high school study Japanese. If 4 percent of the students at the school who study French also study Japanese, do more students at the school study French than Japanese?

(1) 16 students at the school study both French and Japanese.
(2) 10 percent of the students at the school who study Japanese also study French.

A.Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (2) alone is not sufficient.

B.Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (1) alone is not sufficient.

C.BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient.

D.EACH statement ALONE is sufficient.

E. Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient.

I've searched the forum but think this question not appeared yet. Pls help with specific answer, thanks.

If I used the Manhattan table; and let students who learn French is y and students who learn Japanese is x; I can find from B) is that 0.1 x = 0.04 y; which means y >x. Is there any other answers?
