Hello Shimri! I have good scores in high school and college (94% in school and 9.18/10 GPA) and four years of work experience. I also have lots of extra curricular activity exposure. Would a GMAT score in the range 650-680 be enough to get into a good MBA program?
athena97 hi,
GMAT is just one factor. Extracurriculers another
What about all the other factors like:
- managerial experiences
- fast track promotions
- working with international clients
- who your recommenders will be
- Another factor is who you are (male / female / you come from Africa or Germany...)
- and last what is "a good school" is it top 5? top 50? US? India? Canada?
you can see the MBA programs rankings & average GMAT scores here:
https://aringo.com/top-mba-program-rankings/ If you feel your profile is "above average" you can score a lower than average GMAT score. if your profile is less exciting, you might need a higher GMAT score

Hello! I would like to know my chances about getting master in finance programs in top b-schools. I have 3 years of experience in the Ministry of Labor. (my work experience is not directly related to finance). My gpa 82% (out of 100), ielts 7.5 and aiming for 680-700 on the GMAT.
Nazrinn hi
This depends on a. can you connect your past experience to finance? b. your GPA is 82% considered good or bad in YOUR university (are you top 5% or top 30%?) c. what GMAT score you score and d. which schools you will be applying to
Sounds to me like the first step should be GMAT. then we can talk...
(once you take the GMAT, feel free to send me your CV, GMAT score and school wish list to
shimriw@ARINGO.com) and I will try to assist...
