Walker,
I have developed much detailed templates for both types of essays with so many expected phrases and transitional words filled in that you can basically memorize more than half of the words you are going to have to write. That saves a lot of time and then writing 500+ words per essay becomes easy.
Let me know if you want my templates.
I got 6.0 both times I took the GMAT.

Hey, could you plz forward a copy my way too

Hi riyamthew24,

The AWA/Essay is a standard part of the GMAT - and there are a variety of 'templates' that you might use (they all essentially outline the same way to arrange your ideas). The one that you're asking about can be found here:

https://gmatclub.com/forum/how-to-get-6 ... ml#p470475

It's worth noting that most Business Schools don't put too much emphasis on an Applicant's AWA Score (as long as you score a 4.0 or higher out of 6.0, then you will probably be fine).

1) How long have you been studying for the GMAT?
2) What is your overall goal score?
3) When are you planning to take the GMAT?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
