Hi samemon9,

I'm sorry to hear that Test Day did not turn out better. Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long ago did you take the Official GMAT? Was this your only attempt?
2) How long have you study before you took the GMAT and how long have you studied since then?
3) What study materials have you used over the course of all of your studies?
4) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
5) What is your goal score?
6) When are you planning to retake the GMAT?
7) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Regarding prep courses, in addition to seeking advice in this thread, take a look at the GMAT Club reviews for the best quant and verbal courses, and also read through some GMAT success stories to see what materials have worked well for other test-takers.

Also, would you like some general advice on how to improve your verbal and quant skills?

You also may find it helpful to read this article about
how to score a 700+ on the GMAT.

Good luck!

Hi,
I tried Math Revolution, E-Gmat, and Magoosh on demand courses. I cancelled the score of 540. As I recall. quant was 39 and Verbal was around 27.

Hi

It is important to pay undivided attention while solving any problem. A number of students have been successful by using the materials mentioned above. So, make sure whether you have finished all the tasks perfectly.

Besides, you can follow some experts from the GMAT Club, their posts and ways to solve any problem.
