What resources should I use if I want to bump my verbal score from 35 to 40+ in 1 month?

Getting the ESR may help give a sense what to work on. If you feel your fundamentals are solid, consider working on your solving approach. May help boost you score a bit. Had a 6-hour student who went from a v31 to a V40 in about 30 days, similar to the time frame you're aiming for. Perhaps work with a study buddy who is really strong on Verbal. There's a study buddy thread on gmatclub you can check out.

If you've run out of Official-Guide questions, see whether the guide you purchased came with an online exclusive question bank you can active/use. For time management, question/time markers may be useful.

Hi Gmat700plussss,

From what you describe, it sounds as though you purchased the Enhanced Score Report for your Official GMAT. While the ESR doesn’t provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define what went wrong on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher). If you purchased the ESR, then I'll be happy to analyze it for you.

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) When did you take the Official GMAT and how did you score (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
2) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
3) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
4) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
5) What is your overall goal score?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi Gmat700plussss,

Have you checked out GMAT course reviews here on GMAT Club?

Hi Scott - yes I was checking on the reviews and decided to use TTP :) Quant is amazing!! On mission 6 for quant now :)

Just touched on critical reasoning section today.
Heard amazing stories from students using TTP for quant so that’s the main reason I chose to sign up for TTP, but didn’t hear much on verbal so wasn’t sure if I should mix and match courses.
