Hello everyone, I am in need of some help and guidance. I've been studying for the GMAT for 6 months(in addition to 3 months a year ago) and put in a total of >340 hours of studying. I started on my first deployment in 2021. I put in 100 hours there, and then because of my schedule, I had to drop studying. I picked it back up in March of 2022. I started by taking a practice test.(All from mba.com)
March '22- 530 Q29 V34
June '22- 640 Q39 V38
July '22- 690 Q44 V41
August '22- 690 Q49 V35
Real Test- 600 Q35 V38 IR8 AWA 5.0
I was using TTP for almost the entire past 6 months. I completed ~50% of the course material, with a focus on Quant. I felt that things were going very smoothly and I began to focus a lot on OG questions because i felt like I understood most of the concepts but I wanted to focus on how the GMAT presents the questions and their language. My last practice test I did better than I had ever imagined that I could do on quant so I decided to shoot my shot on the real deal. I absolutely bombed it. I did so poorly on quant that I might as well have not even studied for the past 6 months!
I've put in all my heart and effort into this beast of an exam but I feel quite upset that I ended up with a 600. My goal is >720. What suggestions do ya'll have for quant or overall prep strategy? Please bestow me with your wisdom! haha Thanks in advance.

Try to think what may have happened during the exam. Were you doing anything that you did not during the 690 mocks?

Normally such inconsistencies are a result of silly mistakes. You may be doing silly mistakes in easy and medium questions. Try following a fixed consistent process for solving every question in quant. As GMATNinja (Charles) always suggests please follow the below steps for every quant practice question, so that this process becomes natural to you.
1) Read the question twice before you start solving
2) Check along the way. For example double check the calculation at at each step
3) Read the question one more time before you mark the answer
You can even analyse your ESR to pinpoint the reason to the low score.
