Books R Us Publishing is planning a book launching for its new line of novels by first-time authors. In the hopes of attracting major national distributors and retailers to these books, the company's president has instructed its regional representatives to personally escort its previous best-selling authors to the launching.

Which of the following, if true, most strongly supports the expectation of the company's president?

A) Many of the previous best-selling authors would attend the book launching even if there was no escort offered by the company.
B) Distributors and retailers usually skip book launchings unless they include established authors who are promoting their own new novels.
C) Books R Us Publishing's competitors have also scheduled book launchings for new authors and they have decided not to invite their published authors to the event.
D) The presence of established authors is likely to boost the purchasing power for their future books with the same distributors and retailers.
E) A book launching that includes recognizable writers tends to attract distributors and retailers in the industry who otherwise would not attend.
