I think Booth is traditionally the best school for finance after Wharton. I get your point about networking in NYC - i would be curious to see what that translates into in terms of offers from your key employers/banks/companies. What if they hire on campus at Booth vs. trying to network with them in New York? Both paths are feasible but one is much easier.... of course they may not be hiring on any campus.

My classmates at Booth who recruited for banking all did extremely well and everyone I know here who wanted NYC banking got an offer. There's no disadvantage being at Booth location wise as all of the major banks come to campus to recruit/interview. Seems like you're leaning Booth so I'd go with your gut here.
