All,

gmat245, undecided2343 (creator of this topic), hbsgeek, and mbaapp25 have posted by the same IP and are duplicate accounts of the same person. So it looks he made this thread, then made alternative accounts to push "booth".... really weird.

I've raised it to the other admins how they want to handle it (aside from banning him and his IP's). Presumably these topics will be deleted, but want to give everyone a chance to read what happened before then.

If that IP address can be traced to the Booth admissions office then we have a bona fide scandal on our hands!!! :)

Hopefully, this is just an independent Booth troll not connected to the administration. If it is coming from the Booth campus...or much worse...the admissions office...we have something much more scandalous going on. If you think about it, if these threads come up when googling "Kellogg vs Booth" etc, it isn't unreasonable to fathom. These schools have to do whatever it takes.

Can the IP of this be checked to where it is?

Checked it. It is not even from the same continent. Anyhow, it was quite unfathomable that adcom at Booth would have time to indulge in this kind of an activity.

when i visited booth, most people I met wanted to place in MC, so tides are turning away from Finance. I didn't apply to Kellogg, didn't want to go through the whole leadership essay with video, etc, not that it would be a problem but I liked Booth creative essay better.
Also, I'd rather live in downtown Chicago for 2 years, it would be awesome to live by the millennium park!
