Hi,
Another of those questions

.But I am just another anxious guy

.
I am applying to some b-schools for PhD in finance but would like to know your opinion whether my school choices are safe enough. Kindly comment and if possible suggest any realistic option.
PROFILE(Int'l Applicant: India): UG: Civil Engineering: from a nationally reputed but not so much of Internationally reputed College: High First Division.
Gradute: Economics( here lies the worry)

: 3.31/4.00 ( believe me, here grad GPA is really hard to obtain): From a place which is reagrded as one of the top 3 in this country for economics, but as it is very new so yet to gain the int'l reputation.
LoRs: 2 from economics profs and 1 from engg. prof, all with international exposure.: All of them are again reputed in their respected fields within the country and not very famous internationally. Believe, will get "excellent" recos.
Math Courses: 3 courses in multivariate calculus and linear algebra during engg. and lots of doctoral level econometrics. Performance: Average to Good.
GRE: 2380 ( v=780,q=a=800)
My target Schools are:
Simon(Rochester)
INSEAD
LOndon Business School
IVEY(University of Western Ontario)
Johnson(Cornell)
Mays(TAMU)
Yale
McCombs(Austin)
I think am lacking some safe bets. Any comment, suggestion, advice is welcome.
