The adcom isn't meeting for another week I believe; my interview was delayed on account of snowstorm a couple weeks ago, just had it this week. The guy was saying it's pretty hectic right now, but this coming week they're going to try and convene again, I believe.

They're apparently waiting to tell everyone until the actual deadline, so March 16. I wish they wouldn't have done that because it's only going to give some people one or two days until their response deadlines from other schools.

Same here...I'm actually shocked. BC contacted me, I have another master's degree from them, got a 3.9 in that program...and I got about the same as you from NU & BU....apparently we're not good enough for BC though haha.

Same...Shocked. I was expecting a similar offer from BC. you had a 3.9 and 730 and you got W/L?!

My GPA is low, but for very legitimate reasons. Thought my military experience and GMAT would help Ugggghhhhh this throws a huge wrench into my plan. Maybe this is just some kind of ploy (I'm in denial lol )

Yeah I'm surprised; you would think military experience would count for something. BC was really actively pursuing me...I'm not sure why now haha

On the waitlist infopage it says there are some things you can do, like show additional coursework, retake the gmat, or send in a 3rd rec...I think my GPA is fine, my gmat is fine, and my rec's must have been good if I got those other offers. I'm going to call tomorrow to see if I can find out any extra information that they could pass along to me. You should do the same. I'm also going to ask how this impacts scholarship $, since apparently they're waiting to tell people on the W/L what their decision is until after they get the first round of acceptance replies. I can virtually guarantee that we won't be getting large packages; those are going to go to the people they REALLY want to go, and then whoever turns down we'll get a piece of what they would have probably.

Called the other day. I was told that if I made it off the wait list I would be considered for scholarships. Dwindling hope. I talked to a current student, and he guessed that way more R1 applicants accepeted offers then intended. I'll stick it out another week before moving on :) . Hopefully good news to come for us all!
