B) building brick homes takes twice as long for wooden houses - Wrong - as long for is incorrect idiom
C) brick homes take twice as long to build as wooden houses do - Correct choice for parallelism and idiom usage
D) brick homes take twice as long as building wooden houses - Wrong construction as construction time is not compared in this
