I've been heavily researching the average "Cost of Attendance" at some top schools.
I would love some general feedback on how accurate these estimates are, how difficult it is to stay within budget, etc.
Specific Questions:
"Cost of Attendance" assumes a 20-month program, which excludes the summer internship. Do employers ever cover part of the associated expenses?
How does summer internship housing work? Is it common for students to rent an apartment for 2-3 months in a new city?
How viable is a flexible lease option? For example, sandwiching your internship around two 10-month leases to save two months of rent.
What are some additional expenses students should expect to see? International travel opportunities, internship travel expenses, hidden fees, hidden program costs, etc.
