If this article is true and the govt does nothing about it, do you think there is a good chance that this recession will be still around 2011 and beyond? (estimated time table when most of us will be done w MBA)

No one can predict the future.

I think the chance of the economy being anything better than "OK" by 2011 is pretty low.

It's like investing, don't try and time the market. Find what has value and buy it (or in the case of an MBA, do it) no matter what the market looks like.
