Anybody else invited to Texas MBA Friday? While it sounds great, I'm on another continent... I'm wondering if this invite means that an interview invite is on its way? The Texas MBA Friday is apparently held every month and has a limited registration of 65 students. Surely not every applicant gets this invite, right?

I got the invite to that last night as well...I've already interviewed (1/4/2008) though, so I'm not sure what it says about where you are at in their application process. All I know is my heart nearly jumped out of my chest when I saw an e-mail from Texas...a little disappointed it was only an invite to this event...

Any McCombs applicants received a final decision yet?

I submitted in early November, interviewed towards the end of November. No mention of scholarship, don't think that's coming. But excited nonetheless!

Congrats GMATforfal08....

It is 21 days since I submitted my app and transcripts. Online app status still shows transcripts missing. Called admissions office, and they asked to give them atleast 1 more week before checking back. Seems like a lot of applications are coming in close to the Feb 1st deadline.

Seriously. The word on the street is that with a 47% increase in applications to McCombs it now takes 5 weeks to process an application (per B-Week post so take that with a grain of salt).

If I don't get an interview request this week I'm gonna start getting worried (complete on Jan 7th).

My app showed complete last Friday, about a month after I submitted it.
Now waiting for the interview invite. Good luck Toploader !
