I have not officially decided to apply but one of my fellow managers went to Michigan and has almost convinced me to apply. From everything I have read they have pretty decent placement in IB. Not sure how good they are for real estate IB though. 710 GMAT 3.6 GPA blah, blah, blah...we are all great in our own ways. I was really unhappy when I learned that Ross delivers by FedEx :roll:

Their leadtimes in Russia su$$.

But they are rather good in US.

That's the other case. Russia has a rather special market in transportation... Just cross the fingers and hope that documents are delivered smoothly by FedEx. In turn, I hope that the package was shipped as documents, because FedEx doesn't have a clearance point in Ekaterinburg and it's needed to manage clearance process remotely. More of that, FedEx deals with a company that takes 2-3 weeks to clear... But overall delivery of documents is rather good. In US there are two good and global courier companies - UPS and FedEx

I have an interview tomorrow and for convenience I want to call from home via VoIP program. How do you think which is the best to call to US? Can there be any problems with voice quality?

In R1, this is what happened.

Deadline 10/31
Over the next 2-3 weeks, they followed up with applicants who had something missing in their apps (nc- had to send in his degree copy for example and he had 11/21 as a deadline to send it in if his app was to be considered for R1)
On 11/21 or so, we got an email saying that all our apps were complete.
The invites went out even before this deadline and continued up until mid December (roughly 1 month before the decision deadline).
MOST Indians received the invites right at the end of this whole process. So, if they are doing things the same way, you guys should hear from them early Feb.

I got the admissions binder and yes there was a surprise - two surprises actually. The second one was a $20000/year scholarship from the Tauber Institute of Global Operations. Needless to say I am excited! :bouncer
