I have not officially decided to apply but one of my fellow managers went to Michigan and has almost convinced me to apply. From everything I have read they have pretty decent placement in IB. Not sure how good they are for real estate IB though. 710 GMAT 3.6 GPA blah, blah, blah...we are all great in our own ways. Guys, I feel for you and know your pain from a 1-month long Kellogg torture I experienced, watching others get their admit calls and wondering when and if is going be my turn! The only advice I have is stay positive and try to self-distract by occupying your day with stuff that would keep your mind from thinking about the phone call. Ironically, I received my Kellogg admit call when I forgot about my cell phone, leaving it in the pocket of my jacket. Good luck, all! There are 2 workdays left before Jan 15! P.S. as I stated many times before, I prefer a one-day on-line notification method.

Does anyone think that there is a method to the madness? Do they call by geographic area, last name, application date, interview date? There seems to be a discussion about this on BW.

I am not sure. But in general, they will attempt to call you on your day phone. So, east coasters seem to be getting the early calls. I have NOT seen reports of an admit call from internationals or W coast folks.

Hey clobo- I think they do call my region. I know that there was one person on b-week from Atlanta, but by and large, they seem to be going by region. I even checked last years thread and someone did find out from the adcomm that it is indeed by region. Each adcomm is incharge of a calling up a certain region. Today seems to have been entirely the NY/north east region, so maybe tomorrow will be the midwest and west coast and internationals

My guess is that adcoms are assigned to geographical areas. I remember the adcom who called me today from my school visit, and I recall her stating that she was responsible for the east-coast applicants. Who knows when adcoms assigned to other regions will start calling. It might be tomorrow or Monday. Stay calm, guys!

I have a feeling we will get to know our status on 15th only. Lets see.

I think we will know tomorrow and possibly Monday if we are admitted. There is a small chance that some applicants could know on the 15th but by and large most should know by monday. but i hate the stretched out decision process- i prefer dukes process as well.
