I think you need to call them to tell them that your recommenders have submitted. Columbia prefers that the recommenders submit before you submit. Otherwise, they won't know that your recommenders have submitted. That could be why your applicaiton is still "incomplete."
I really don't think it's wise to post that image with your recommenders' names on it.
But yes, I agree with xlick. Give them a call or send an e-mail to [email protected] and ask them what happens to be incomplete. It could be something else other than recommendations.
Sorry guys have been quite absent lately. I'm starting to prepare the essays. Thinking of visiting the school shortly. Am completely sold on the Entrepreneurship program at Columbia. I'll be retaking the GMAT as well as my quant score is not in line with my expectations.

Best of luck on both of those efforts! Let us know how they go.
How much weight does CBS put on recommendations from alums of Columbia business undergraduate, but not the MBA? I've worked with this person several times, but it would mean I wouldn't get one from my direct manager (he's my director and occasionally engagement manager).

Does Columbia have an undergraduate business program? I wasn't aware of one.

Hmm, I might have misheard. I know he went to Columbia, but it might have been economics or finance instead. I looked at CBS' website and it made no mention of undergraduates.
Don't quote me on this, but I heard that Columbia has a business area of focus like finance or economics. Degree wise, you get a general undergrad degree. Columbia Business School MBA students will not be taking classes with undergrads if that's your question.
Hi everybody, Quick question... Essay 2 has a recommended 500 word limit, and I'm having a tough time condensing mine below 550 words. How much flexibility do you think there is on the recommended 500 word limit?
I have been told by my consultant to aim for +/- 10% of the recommended word limit so I would think 550 would probably be OK, though obviously it's best to condense your essay a bit more towards 500.
I agree with audrey. The 10% rule is pretty standard when it comes to essay limits. And after speaking to reps from Columbia admissions, I get the feeling that the limit is more of a guideline. They won't count the number of words and you won't get disqualify if you go over.
