Hi guys, thanks for the responses and good luck with your interviews. Obviously, submitting before others but not receiving an invite/ding makes me anxious. But so far it seems the majority of people in RD that have received an invite either applied VERY early (near ED timeframe) are in NY state, or now seemingly belong to a certain demographic.

If this is true I hope they get to internationals soon. Or if this theory is untrue then perhaps my app just sux :(

Does anybody know if it is possible to choose the interviewer from different geographical locations? When/if the interview notification comes, I may be in Buenos Aires, or I may be in New York. I worry about my travel plans and my agenda.

Also, does anybody know what is the commitment deposit amount for RD? (I know its 6k for ED).

thinking of doing a late app to Columbia RD. already have apps in at yale, cornell, ross, kenan-flagler, stanford and kellogg (interviewed at K-F, have them scheduled for kellogg and yale).

is it too late to send a columbia app? thoughts? ---> me: non-traditional applicant (non-profit). 3.74 GPA from top 50 national university (humanities major) and 750 GMAT.

according to businessweek (for last year), 36% of all applicants were interviewed, and 15% of all applicants were admitted, so roughly 42% of interviewed people were accepted.

Hey guys, I need an opinion on the ethical dilemma question.

I've been out of school for 4 years, but the best response I have to the ethical dilemma question is something related to catching someone cheating in college (where we had a strict honor code) and having to figure out what to do about it when a professor asked me point-blank what happened (and it was a violation to lie).

Do you think I should try to find an example from my professional life that is applicable since I'm not that recent of a grad, even if it's not as compelling a story? Or should I stick with the best story?
