I had not mentioned in my earlier post that I'd be applying R1 to Booth. Please update the roll call.

Anyone of you guys ever joined one of the live admission chats?

There is one ongoing as we speak and wow, it's deep....let me give you two examples:

Quote:
Wilma: Q2. what is the proper time to apply for the 2011 fall semester? what is the deadtime? thanks!
Joanna: To view the application deadlines visit: https://www.chicagobooth.edu/fulltime/ad ... apply.aspx

or

Bedo: What is the required GMAT score for the full-time MBA program?
Joanne: Hi Bedo. We do not have a minimum GMAT score requirement for application to the Full Time Program at Chicago Booth.

Questions that I am asking about information that is not readily available on the web and that I would consider 'insightful' are being ignored....It's frustrating it's been like that last time as well

ThomasD: Worse yet, they'll probably answer a few more questions related to minimum GMAT scores on this same chat! Just like they did on the last one, and the one before that, and the one before that....

You are right!

While no one of us here can guarantee that we will all be accepted at the B-school of our choice, it is very amusing to see with what lack of professionalism others pursue their B-school dreams......anyhow, I just don't understand why adcom even bothers with some of those questions, to me this clearly indicates someone is not prepared and what do you want with him/her in your incoming class....but I'll take this a confidence booster that my application will clearly not be at the bottom of applicant pool.

:beer Cheers to those who know when the application deadlines are

IS Booth "reapplicant friendly"??

I mean 'really' reap friendly not just the official speech " ... we strongly encourage reapplicant to submit an application Bla Bla bla.."

Any insider info?
thanks.

I was wondering the same thing about reapplying. I'm still on the summer waitlist after applying to R2, but it isn't looking too promising to be admitted at this point. I was admitted to a couple other programs, and am debating whether to reapply or go to one of the other schools I was accepted at.

I don't think writing an essay is a good idea. I can't see how the "blank page" is different form the last year's presentation.
