Can someone speak to the benefits of the Forte Fellowship aside from the little bit of money? It seems like there would be some additional perks, but I am not aware of it.

All the admitted students shall soon be assigned mentors from the batch of current students, as was the case after R1. I asked the same question as you from my mentor (a Forte fellow). So, apart from the tiny schol amount, it sounded like a good networking opportunity for women. Its an extensive network of Forte Fellows panning all the member schools and more importantly some recruiters too, mainly with the aim of encouraging women leaders. As mentioned in the admit letter, you can attend the Annual Forte conference in June & Tepper would be providing some stipend for your travel.not sure, but probably the resume is added to their resume book as well! You can even check out the Forte Foundation website and Krystal would soon be sending you a mail et al - she's responsible for Forte fellowships etc. Hope this helps.

Thanks SPRK and your information was helpful. I have a tough choice to make because I believe the fellowship will be a great networking opportunity but I have gotten into another good school too. I really loved Tepper when I visited but I am sitting on the (not painted by me) fence.

Now, I don't think even remaining 3 schools would give any positive reply. It's been a long wait. It's time to reassess myself.

Hi, I'm new! Just got the accept today with some Forte $. What an exciting opportunity! I'm struggling though as I have another offer of admission from a similar school. I thought I'd get into one or the other, not both. Eek!
