Yes I am.. and yes yesterday was a horrid day... Staying up till 3AM to see that :( The Europa league is not going to be fun with the thursday fixtures .. Only consolation is that even City will have similar fixtures with them crashing out too..

Hi !

Well....I had close to 2 years for my re-applicant essay as I had first applied in 2009 R1 ;) But, I believe 5-6 months can also be enough for somebody to show improvements. If a person gets promoted in April and joins some NGO in the meanwhile.....just think about it. As far as I am concerned, please see the points I highlighted:

1) Better GMAT Score
2) Better work profile - I was a senior systems engineer in 2009 and I had to really work hard to make an internal movement to consultancy domain. I am now an Associate Consultant.
3) Clear goals and have tried to align my work profile to my career goals, etc.
4) Better experience in my domain based on the additional projects I have worked on since 2009.

I am planning to apply to Tepper in R2 as an International and had a few questions.
Does Tepper provide non-co-signor loans for international students? I am an engineer with over 7 years work ex(4 years international) and without a non-US co-signor loan i cant think of applying to Tepper.

Tepper FAQ - International Students
Q: Are international students eligible for financial aid?
A: Yes. International students are considered for Merit scholarship at the time of admission and, if selected to receive a scholarship, are notified in their offer of admission. There is no separate application process for scholarship consideration. International students are not eligible for US federal financial aid but, each academic year, international students may apply for private (non-federal) education loans to cover tuition and living expenses. A creditworthy cosigner who is a US citizen or a permanent resident of the US is required.

are they serious?
if so I am sorry that I applied to Tepper because without a loan I can't finance my studies...

Why do they require that??? They miss a lot of internationals due to this restriction. Isn't there any other way, besides scholarships, to finance the studies?

When do they announce scholarships? on the same day of the decisions (19.12)?

These are probably good questions for the Tepper team, but in terms of private loans that is my understanding of how it works. It's not Tepper's fault, it's a requirement of the private lenders. Only when the school itself is willing to back you, like Michigan with their own credit union, does the co-signer requirement change.

And yes, with Tepper you should get the scholarship amount in your decision notification.

IF the requirement comes from the rules of private loans, then it is a question for Tepper becuase obviously other schools help their students take the loans. Obviously other schools believe in their students more.

Apart from it, there are also living expanses, and if you come with a spouse then more expanses.

Does anyone know if Tepper actually co-sign with their applicants?
