The semester has started for us (and most of the schools out there) but I know there are several Tepper 1st and 2nd years on this board still. If anyone anyone has questions, let us know.

Just wanted to add in about the fence.
It's a competition of sorts, between the different clubs, frats, and sororities.
If the fence is 'unclaimed', and you have at least one other person with you, you can 'claim' the fence. This means that you can paint it however you want (usually frat letters, slogans, what-have-you), and the fence is yours as long as you and your group continue to have at least two people at the fence.
If you and your group leave the fence, another group can claim it and re-paint it, and it remains theirs until they lose it.
Etc etc etc.
It's a lot of fun, people set up tents and barbecues and stuff at the fence, and it's at the cross-roads of all the main paths to class, so people will stop and say hi on their way to and from class.
Although, I have to say that you'd probably not walk past the fence on your way to the Tepper building, but it's only a short distance out of the way :D

Looks like I will be in for R1 as well. CMU is one of my target schools.
Just a question. I heard last year they were waiving the application fee for people with 700+ GMAT scores? Is this true?
