Tepper 2012 - Calling All Applicants

I have already schedule an interview for Nov 1st, but also submitted application on 24th. Does that mean, I will be in a better position if I still get an interview invite???

Does no one else received interview invites?

Not really sure. I doubt it matters though. It's possible you'll might it later next week or they knew you had already scheduled a visit. I scheduled mine pretty late, on 25th, 2 days after submitting my application.

It is strange to find that there is not much activity in this thread this year !!!

It seems all the threads are down this year. Hopefully that means positive things for this year's applicants.

I hope that too. But at least if people would have posted whether they could an interview invite, it would give a tentative idea of the number of people getting interviewed. It would also help in knowing their experiences.

Was the timing between interview calls last year - weekly ?

Just got back from Diversity Weekend, which was just a perfectly executed showcase of the program. Major, major kudos to the admissions team.

The prospectives were brilliant, friendly, and energetic with a huge range of geographic, professional, and personal backgrounds. The faculty led lively classes and workshops, most of which centered on their personal research. We got a front row view of how a school like Tepper uses analytics and cutting-edge research to drive lessons on organizational behavior and leadership. The 1Y and 2Ys were motivating, insightful, curious, and they really embraced us from our first step onto campus. The administration was on point, there was no subject unexplored and no logistic unconsidered -- they literally prepared a perfect weekend for us. I have to believe that's a strong representation of the support we'd receive as students.

Tepper blew my mind, and I can't encourage people enough to take a visit.

Wondering how that's gonna be conducted, any advise? Seems like we need to send an email to them to book the time instead of booking the interview slots?

I had my interview yesterday on campus. It was pretty informal. The main points covered in the interview were walkthrough of my professional career, why I want to pursue an MBA, my growth as a professional and any challenges I faced. It lasted slightly over an hour.

My only recommendation is to just be yourself. It allows you to have a discussion instead of a question/answer session.

when i called and scheduled, I was told who I was getting.

Looks like I could only schedule a skype one instead of on campus, really looking forward to meeting an admission officer though.
