I'm a little sad that every team in Pittsburgh has black and yellow as the team colors.

And that I can't ever seem to land in a city that has NBA basketball.

Well, Pitt has a nice bball team, so that's something.

True - we just got an e-mail actually with info on getting tickets for the NCAA tournament at the CONSOL center. Pitt was a #1 seed last year (and screwed up everyone's brackets when they lost).

That is true and Pitt's joining the ACC right? If I end up at CMU, my wife will be a grad student at Pitt, so I'm hoping we can score some tix!

Thanks, it's getting real close! A lot hinges on next week's Ross result + any Consortium fellowship decision (fingers crossed), but I'm thrilled that my family has Pittsburgh lined up. My wife got the admit she needed at Pitt, and now CMU is locked and loaded!

Also, it's been quiet here in the thread, but I'm eager to see some more Tepper admits soon. :-D

And thanks! I get more excited about Tepper by the day. I just found out about the operations class that partners with AT Kearney to find real life consulting projects (it's so MAP haha). It seems that I'm always finding new trinkets about the school, so it doesn't surprise me that you're still weighing the two -- it's a good problem to have haha.

Tepper doesn't call applicants. All admits/waitlists/rejections will go out on Friday the 16th via e-mail.

I kind of breezed through the '10 and '11 threads, but I didn't see anyone saying they got in off the waitlist at the R2 marker. The waitlist FAQ says they could contact you at anytime, including prior to June. So, I'd say it's possible, but at the same time don't get your hopes up too high expecting a status change.
