Is there any difference in scheduling interview sooner or later?

Congrats to everyone getting interviews today. Seems like the invites are really starting to flow now...

According to first page of this thread approx. 10% of GMATClub R1 applicants have received interviews (assuming the most recent batch hasn't updated their profile just yet). So, there's plenty more invites to go out if Booth continues to interview 40-50% of candidates.

Seems like they released an "Indian" lot just now! :-D

Hmm apparently the article on poets and quants saying that Booth is a FIFO review process rings true (unlike other schools where it is more random). We've so far seen mostly those who submitted before 10/12 get invites. Though please feel free to prove me wrong :).

There are examples right on this page that dispute that..People submitting right from 09/26 through 10/12 (just a few hours before the deadline) are reporting invites...

Got an invite as well.

Indian Male| Working in New York, Information Tech, 3 Yrs | 750, 6.0 | Undergrad 3.35, Grad 3.52 | Submitted on the deadline date. | Got it about 30 min back.

The page that appears first after logging in still states 'Submitted'

"2012 Full-Time MBA Program - Round 1 Submitted 08/23/2011 10/12/2011"

The page following that, the application page has this section:

'Status Update

An update to your application was last posted November 3, 2011.

View Update >>"

Clicking on view update takes me to the same content as the email letter.
