It changes to "Under Review". Typically either same day, or after one day.
Applied on Monday and just got the first "Private number" call on my cell phone in 3 years. Needless to say, I slammed my office door closed in a panic and professionally answered the phone...of course, it was a spam call for a lower rate on my non-existent mortgage. Go figure!

Does anyone know how important the interview is? Meaning is the final acceptance decided by the interviewer alone, or is the paper application still weighted?

my interviewer said the interview is only a part of the application and that he's recommended multiple ppl before who didn't end up getting in...
Fudge still learning english I think *evil grin*... the second one is saying he's applying for ED not that he got admitted....
regarding interview / etc... 27% get interviewed roughly and only 15% get admitted.. so 55.5% chance of admit after interview... so your interviewer is correct
