I agree with above about events, specially since there is a space in the app for you to disclose events you have attended and admissions people you have spoken to.

I received an email saying that a decision has been rendered. I logged in to find out that a decision has not been rendered. I am deferred into regular decision for final decision by Feb 1. For some reason I kinda felt this might happen considering everyone who had similar timelines heard back already.

I guess its a good thing that i'm still being considered? What do I do now?

Wait so you applied ED and have been moved to Reg Decision? i didn't think they could/would do that, what does that mean?

Submitted: 9/10
Invite to Interview: 9/13
Interview: 9/22
Interview Complete: 9/24

Seems like many of those who submitted their apps in late august/early september were invited to interview within a couple of days (some exceptions of course). Has anyone submitted in the last week or so and heard back for an interview call yet?

I have the same question. My application went under review last Thursday, and I have heard nothing yet. The earlier applicants' timeline made me so nervous...

Partly to make me feel better and part for everyone else, has anyone gone under review after 9/16 and heard back with an interview request or anything else? I know that as time passes, the process slows down due to the influx in submissions, but curious as to how much it slows down.

What's interesting is that compared to last years timeline, it seems apps this year have gone from "under review" to "interview" to "complete" way faster... or is that just my imagination or lack of data?

In the same boat as you are ajk9999 and shortheworld... Good luck!

HAHA the dread of getting an email after your status is complete :P My work email is the one I used on my application so I was kind of stupid there and wanted to punch myself in the face for making such a dumb mistake.

The whole "deferred" thing is something I was dreading and I'm sorry to hear it cunit... I knew if I got that I would have to work on other applications just to potentially find out down the road that I was in... the only good thing I do have to say is that it's not a ding and you don't have to fork the 6K deposit if you get admitted!

Thanks LT, but this is one time I would be glad to fork over $6K!

I'm really giving up hope right now as i've poured my heart/soul into this app. Really nothing more I can give to this thing as i'm a reapplicant and thought I did everything I could. At least I can confidently say that i'm the first CBS deferred applicant! Maybe I can threadmaster that one ha.
