the website says that the interviewers have up to 2 weeks and it will only be a week on friday but it seems kind of strange since everyone's interviewers here did it within a day or so...im wondering that because i got an interview invite before my app even turned to under review, it just always said prepared for review, if my application just hasnt changed or my inteviewer is taking a very long time

I don't want to call admissions and then they think i am annoying...so i just am not sure whether it is worth it to call yet

They tell us 2 weeks but they tell the like interviewer 3 days. My interviewer told me the deadline for him was 2-3 days after interview or something like that. Again, I dont know if you are being affected by volume.

I would call them under the pretense of the status not updating and then throw in not changing to interview complete at the end.

Anybody long the dollar right now? I'm starting to get semi-worried how bad its going to be by the time we matriculate, regardless of which school. From hearing horror stories from Columbia alumni about what it was like to be in school in late 2008 (all on-campus interviews getting cancelled), i'm starting to get concerned.

Not too concerned... my interviewer said now is the time to get in. The economy "may" get worse over the next 12 months but realistically you should expect it to start rebounding and heading back the right way within 2-3 years from now. That puts us at 2014 in a good position if it falls true. Catching the wave as it's ascending.. not descending.

A question for admits: is there a required form of payment for the deposit? i.e. check only? Can you pay via credit/debit card?

Just curious.

i think we're fine, we may have a bit of a rocky road to recovery but things should be good.. should be more telling in another year, everyone was freaking out about greece in may 2010 and we bounced from then as well although 'may be worse' now... have earnings season coming out so thats gonna be telling for the companies and also next friday will be release of employment data (can u tell im a trader lol)... but i also think for getting into b school we dodged the heavier applicant years so we'll be able to get into stronger schools that normally would have been even more competitive. im bullish.

and besides wer eally have more like 2.5/3 years for the economy to recover or do what its going to do -- i think the benefit of an MBA is that it limits downside risk while increasing your upside as well. the next few years may be a bit trying but try to not get too caught up in it -- youll be removed from it for almost 3 years and 3 years ago from now we were in a very very dark time and have bounced back from then and are working things out.

Don't worry about it man! If he is tardy they will take care of it. They will not take it out on you if your interviewer does something wrong. :!:

At the conclusion of my interview my interviewer told me that CBS asks them to submit within 2-3 days and that she would personally submit it the next day.

However, this didn't happen. I waited 2 weeks without a status update and I finally e-mailed admissions to ask them what to do. They said that they had already contacted my interviewer who had promised them that she'd submit it the report that week.

Once she finally submitted the report (15 days after the interview) my status went complete and I got the admit phone call 1 week later.

So if I were you, I'd wait 2 weeks before following up with admissions...
