Hi,

Does anyone know how the consortium work if we are waitlisted for a school? Thanks.

Yep. It gets tricky. If you get waitlisted, you are still eligible to become a member of the Consortium (but not likely to receive a fellowship.) This tends to happen with the smaller programs, but schools can "backdoor" you into CGSM so that you can go to OP and be a part of that incoming CGSM class. This is all dependent upon the school making another admissions decision on you prior to the top of June (before OP starts.)

I'll be at NYU as well on Saturday and I have no detailed itinerary. Wondering how much stuff we will be doing since its a 9 to 5 event.

What is OP?

The Consortium Orientation Program, or "OP" for short. It's the annual gathering of all CGSM fellows, school reps, employers/recruiters, etc. who come together for a professional development conference. There are seminars and community service projects and career fairs and parties...you name it.

Got an "Online Event - Application Tips Panel" email from Yale. I saw it was from Yale and my heart jumped but then I read the subject line....

Lol my god.

Anyone else check their Cornell account? I just randomly checked.

Dinged.

And they couldn't even send me a status update email! I'm over here like, "But can't I at least get an email about it?!" LOL

Same. I did rank them 6th though and honestly I'm not upset about the decision- surely there are candidates out there that truly wanted to go to Johnson more than I did that got admitted. I'm honored they invited me to interview.

Yep, I ranked them fairly low as well. Didn't interview, but not upset about the decision. Now, it just makes me hope that I get into my top choices that much more!

I also have a mid-March Darden interview. I was invited yesterday so thought I was dinged up until then. Not sure how that will all play out if 3/11 is the big day. They encouraged me to do it next week but I live on the west coast so flying cross country was not feasible with a few days notice. I am really confused by the late notification.

I was accepted to Johnson on 2/20 and was invited to apply to the Park Leadership Fellowship and attend their scholarship weekend. I ranked Johnson #4.

Trust me, I definitely asked and pushed for Skype, especially because I've spent 3 days on campus but I was told it was a requirement that all US applicants have the interview in person. So here I am flying out to UVA in March.

Same here basically, never heard a word from them since the acknowledgement email back in January. No interview, no admissions decision email, nothing. Just checked online however, and it says I have been waitlisted. I'm so confused

I got a Yale response. I'm having issues accessing it though. Does anyone have any idea what the "Temporary Pin" is?

Please help. I'm paralyzed.
