any thoughts on asking for a scholarship decision sooner stating a competing offer as the reason? is that a good strategy or can rub them off the wrong way?

Hi guys, those who have gone through the interview process, did interviewers have a preference for a personal meeting? Even though the invite email mentions e-meet, is it better to go for a face to face meeting?

I dont think there is any difference between face to face and virtual as long as you and interviewer are comfortable with either. Best is to give them an option to choose and whatever they decide, go for that. The maximum you could do is state your preference in the email. Especially after covid I dont think they will have any negative connotation around doing virtual interviews but that is just my opinion about it.

Has anyone heard from DC today?

For a class of approx. 500 students, i would assume around 125 each round get admits, maybe more in earlier rounds. We are a minority of people here then? R1 admits who may have received info or invite to any group with R1 invites, can you share some insights maybe?
