I am a re-applicant from last year and was waitlisted and got in this year. I had gotten into Kellogg last year, asked for a deferral for one more shot at insead, and am so happy to go to insead now! I got a promotion at work so I think that really helps for slightly older programs like Insead so waiting can help!

evouvman, thanks for the encouraging words INSEAD is the first and only MBA program I have applied to so far! So would have been too easy if I had gotten in right away 
I was hoping to avoid the ’applying to various programs’ bit. looks like I can’t avoid that. But getting selected for the interview gave me a much-needed boost of confidence.
